The Salem County Board of Social Services (SCBSS) was created to serve the citizens of Salem County. Our mission is to administer Federal and State public assistance programs in a competent, compassionate and efficient manner. Our goal is to meet the needs of our clients through the prudent use of public funds and ensure that those people who qualify for benefits receive them.
